Getting here by CAR

From the South (Oban & Skye)
From Strathcarron & South - drive north to SHIELDAIG (do not go as far as Torridon). There is only 1 road through Shieldaig village off the main road (A896). Either go left at the 1st turn, through the village, up hill we are the 1st house on right. Or 2nd left off the main road and we are the 4th building on the left. Aurora is at top level of the village, nearly opposite the war memorial, next to the unofficial campsite (which are marked on many maps).

From the North (Ullapool & Gairloch)
From Gairloch drive south to Kinlochewe, turn right (A896 to SHIELDAIG). Drive through Glen Torridon, which is single track & a beautiful drive. IGNORE the Torridon turn continue to SHIELDAIG on the main road (A896). Just after Shieldaig village HERON & 40mph sign, take 1st right, we are the 4th on left.

From the East (Inverness)
From Inverness - follow the Brown Tourist signs for "Wester Ross Coastal Trail". Initially follow Ullapool signs (A835), then just after Garve take the left turn A832 to Gairloch. This gets you to Kinlochewe ñ turn left onto the A896 to Shieldaig. Drive through Glen Torridon, which is single track & a beautiful drive. IGNORE the Torridon turn continue to SHIELDAIG on the main road (A896). Just after Shieldaig village HERON & 40mph sign, take 1st right, we are the 4th house on the left.
